Original quality
JPEG photos are placed in the PDF byte-for-byte, without being re-compressed, so the PDF looks exactly like the photos and is barely larger than the images themselves. PNGs are embedded losslessly (transparency is kept). Other formats — WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG — are converted in your browser first. Photos taken on a phone are turned upright using their orientation data.
Page options
- A4 / US Letter — each image is scaled to fit the page within the margin and centred. With Automatic orientation, landscape photos get landscape pages.
- Same as image — every page is exactly the size of its image, with no white border (margins don't apply). Best for screenshots or slides.
Drag the thumbnails (or use the arrow buttons) to set the page order, and remove any image with its × button. For a scanned multi-page document, photograph each page, then use Sort by name if your camera numbered them in order.

Are my files uploaded?
No. Creating the PDF runs with JavaScript and WebAssembly running in your browser tab. Your files are read from your device and the results are created on your device; nothing is sent to gratistools.be or anyone else, which is also why there are no queues, daily limits or watermarks.
