From cleaning to number intelligence
Belgian domestic, +32 and 0032 numbers are normalised to E.164, deduplicated and classified as mobile, geographic fixed, freephone, premium-rate, IoT/eCall or premium SMS/MMS short code. Extensions and the original source row are retained for bulk cleanup.
Official BIPT block intelligence
On first analysis the browser downloads the public BIPT numbering workbook through GratisTools and matches the number locally. The workbook currently contains 26 worksheets covering ordinary number blocks, short numbers, premium and freephone ranges, SMS/MMS short codes, E.212/IMSI, IIN, ISPC, NSPC and X.121 data. The result exposes the matched official row, status, description, Operator/SP, reservation and allocation dates and operatornumber. The phone number itself is not sent with this reference lookup.
Operator, network and tariff context
For mobile numbers the allocated block holder is not necessarily the current carrier because number portability exists. The BIPT operatornumber is used to join the matched capacity to the same operator's technical records across E.212/IMSI, IIN, ISPC, NSPC and X.121 worksheets. Network and consumer-brand information is context, not subscriber identification. For 070, 090x and premium SMS short codes the tool also shows the regulated tariff category.
Mappings and provenance
Telephone zones, service prefixes, premium tariffs, mobile brands/networks and every worksheet in the current BIPT workbook are available as downloadable data. Matched results show the complete original BIPT row, worksheet name and Excel row number. The full workbook data is available as JSON and a flattened CSV; the official original XLSX stays linked.
