The engine applies the Belgian 6/7 × catalog value × age coefficient × CO₂ percentage formula, with 2026 reference emissions of 70 g/km for petrol/LPG/natural gas and 58 g/km for diesel, a 4%–18% CO₂ band and the 2026 minimum annual benefit.
Electric cars use the 4% minimum percentage. False hybrids can have special fiscal CO₂ treatment, so enter the fiscally applicable value.
