Index of what?
This tool is specifically the Belgian health index published monthly by Statbel, using the current 2025=100 base. The health index excludes alcohol, tobacco and most motor fuels from the consumer-price basket and is used for housing-rent indexation.
It is not a generic salary-index calculator. Public-sector wages and social benefits use the separate smoothed health index and pivot-index mechanism; sector salary indexation can follow collective agreements.

Is my data uploaded?
No. The index comparison is calculated in your browser, so nothing you add is sent to gratistools.be. See the privacy page for details.
