Belgian XBRL

XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) files hold financial facts: a concept (e.g. equity), a value, a period and an entity. In Belgium you meet two kinds:

  • NBB annual accounts (jaarrekeningen / comptes annuels) filed with the Central Balance Sheet Office; you can download XBRL filings of any company from the NBB consult website.
  • Biztax corporate and legal-entity tax returns submitted to FPS Finance.

The viewer groups facts by concept and period, shows the entity's enterprise number and the taxonomy the file uses, and flags duplicate or conflicting facts. Load a second filing to see which figures changed between years.

Concept names are shown as written in the file (e.g. pfs:Equity). Human-readable labels live in the NBB/Biztax taxonomies, which are too large to ship with this page.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Parsing runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device. Bank statements, invoices and tax files often contain personal and financial data — that's exactly why nothing is sent to gratistools.be.
