Local Flood Zone Geometry Checker

Check whether a GPS point intersects polygons in a GeoJSON file you provide. For official Flemish P/G scores always use Waterinfo.

Local: yes. Your input stays on your device and is not sent to an external service for this tool.

Local geometry check

Upload your own flood-zone polygon GeoJSON or use a clearly fictional example. MapLibre runs without remote tiles.

No address geocoding, remote maps, or uploads. Click an official source link only if you want to leave GratisTools.

Does this tool give an official flood score?

No. The tool only checks local polygon overlap in a GeoJSON file you supply. Even when a point is outside every uploaded polygon, flood risk cannot be excluded; you may have incomplete or outdated data. Do not infer legal P- or G-scores from a point intersection.

Where can I get an official result?

For a legal property-level or building-level flood report in Flanders visit Waterinfo, Vlaamse overheid and request the report for the actual parcel or building.

Privacy and source

MapLibre GL JS displays locally supplied GeoJSON polygons without a third-party basemap or geocoding API. Coordinates and polygon files do not leave this browser.
