.be Domain Checker

🌐 External lookup: availability and WHOIS data are fetched by our server from DNS Belgium (one query per check, rate-limited, per its terms of use). DNS records are resolved via Google Public DNS from your browser.

Status values

  • AVAILABLE — you can register it through any accredited .be registrar.
  • NOT AVAILABLE — registered. The registrar, registration date, nameservers and DNSSEC keys are shown.
  • QUARANTINE — recently released: after deletion a .be name stays in quarantine for 40 days, when only the previous holder can reactivate it; afterwards it becomes available.
  • OUT OF SERVICE / NOT ALLOWED / REGISTERED (reserved) — blocked or reserved names.

Flags such as clientTransferProhibited (a transfer lock set by the registrar) and serverTransferProhibited (set by DNS Belgium) are explained. The holder's details are not shown in WHOIS for privacy reasons; DNS Belgium offers a web form for legitimate requests.

Internationalised names

.be supports accented names such as café.be; they're registered as punycode (xn--caf-dma.be). Type either form; convert with the punycode converter.
