Belgian LEZ Checker

Enter your vehicle once and compare the current Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent LEZ rules side by side.

Local: yes. Your input stays on your device and is not sent to an external service for this tool.

Current comparison: 2026 rules. For special vehicles, exemptions and future years, the city checker remains authoritative.

Why one checker?

Belgium has separate LEZ systems. The 2026 Brussels threshold is stricter than the current Flemish threshold, so the same Euro 5 diesel can receive a different result by city. This tool compares the encoded rules but keeps a direct link to each official checker for exemptions and special categories.

Scope

The automatic comparison is intentionally limited to ordinary M1 passenger cars and N1 light vans. Electric/hydrogen vehicles are shown separately. Special-purpose vehicles, exemptions and later rule changes must be confirmed with the official city tool.

The comparison engine and its tests are MIT-licensed in belgian-utils / lez.js.
